2022 Summit is In PersonSEPTEMBER 21-23 | DENVER, CO
Welcome to Summit
Join us in Denver, Colorado on September 21st – 23rd for three powerful days of collaboration and ideation | Download the program
Since the first event in 2019, the ASPCA Right Horse Summit has been a place to convene around our shared goal of increasing equine adoption and providing a space to connect, innovate, and inspire one another. We’ve made new friends, engaged in groundbreaking collaborations, and come together as a community.
Summit will continue to be a manifestation of the collective of partners and programs that give life to the equine adoption movement.
We invite anyone with a passion for helping horses and equine adoption to join us. Admission to the Summit is cost-free and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Additional travel stipends covering up to three nights’ lodging in the hotel room block will be available to ASPCA Right Horse Partners and active Warm-Up Ring participants.
Registration is now closed. We hope to see you in 2023!
About This Year’s Summit
What to expect: A powerful two and a half days of education, networking, and inspiration with fellow industry and equine welfare leaders and pioneers – including hands-on sessions with horses
When: Full days of programming on September 21st and 22nd; and a half-day on the 23rd. Check-in will be open from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on September 20th and 7:00-8:45 a.m. on September 21st.
Where: The Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado, on September 21-22; and the DFL Harmony Equine Center on Friday, September 23.
You’ve given us feedback about the topics that matter most to you and your organization, and we’ve got a chock-full schedule of networking opportunities and educational sessions. Whether you’re new to the adoption movement, work in the industry, or run a shelter or rescue—we’ve curated sessions specifically for you!
This year, we’ll spend two days indoors before heading to the DFL Harmony Equine Center for hands-on sessions centered around training and management. You’ll leave Summit with the tools to raise more money and help more horses, and priceless relationships with other equine and shelter professionals.
More session specifics will be available soon. Planned sessions will include a variety of adoption-related topics including:
- Marketing hard-to-adopt horses
- Leveraging social media to engage new adopters
- Funding and business management
- Strategic planning
- Hands-on equine management and training
