John + Manny
Breed Appendix Quarter Horse
My girlfriend who has been riding for over 20 years took me to the Lorain County Fair, where I hung out with horses for the first time and was hooked! After that, I knew I wanted a horse, but I wanted a rescue.
We found Manny on Facebook and went to go meet him. I knew right away that he was my Right Horse! He was rescued off of a feedlot by the lady I adopted him from. He is a 7-year-old Appendix Gelding. He has severe Ringbone from a previous injury, and whip scars all over him. Poor Manny had a terrible past, but not anymore! Now he is the most spoiled horse around! He can’t be ridden, so he is my companion horse. I do ground work with him, and we just hang out together. He even follows me without a lead line. I made him an Instagram account so people can follow his adventures. He is Manny The Brave Horse!
