On April 15, 2017, my daughter’s dream of having her very own horse came true.

We adopted Peanut (formerly known as Java), a miniature horse. She fell in love with the moment she saw him! She began training him that day. She worked with him every day in the hopes that they would do well during their first show together. They got 1st place after their very first class and placed in the other two; we knew this was a match made in heaven. They had a fantastic show season and made it all the way to the Pennsylvania state horse show with only six months of training! I am excited to see what the future holds for this team. These two have such a special bond; it is sweet just to watch them.

What #RightHorse means to me

Anything is possible with the right horse! I was so lucky to have a great trainer that went above and beyond to help find the perfect horse along with the wonderful people at Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue.
